2007- 2008 Program Schedule

AAWA Programs are held the third Monday of the month at the Ann Arbor Art Center (Second Floor, Gallery) and are open to the public (unless otherwise noted).

Fall Mixer.  Casual get-together for old, new and prospective members.

William Lewis is professor emeritus at the University of Michigan and is well known for his luminous watercolor, acrylic paintings and collages.  He is represented by the Chelsea River Gallery, chelsearivergallery.com.

Annual Member Field Trip.  AAWA Members travel to Ontario to visit the Windsor Sculpture Park and Art Gallery of Windsor. Please email Karen Gallup at

Marianetta Porter teaches at the University of Michigan.  She is a mixed media and fiber artist and  uses "common objects" to speak simply and thoughtfully about the past.
